We are located on Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City, right by a major intersection that can take you straight to EDSA, Manila’s major highway. Two important shopping and business hubs – Eastwood City and Ortigas Center – are just 10 to 15 minutes away. We’re also a quick ride from Manila’s International and Domestic Airports.

Go the other way, however, and you’re a short drive away from some of the country’s most prestigious universities – the University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, and Miriam College.

We also happen to be on a road blossoming with wonderful newcomers in food and entertainment. Directly across the highway from us is a small bar called Route 196, with some excellent music and even better bar chow (plus cheap – but ice-cold – beer!). You’re also a stone’s throw away from the Cubao area, Farmer’s Market, the Gateway mall and the Araneta Coliseum, a popular site for major international concerts and sports events.

And since this road caters to a lot of students, Katipunan is peppered with food joints that are both delicious and won’t break the bank. Nibble on hot, crispy and sinful Ilocos empanada at Balay ti Empanada or dig into some of the juiciest burgers at Wham!. Afterwards, sink a fork into a few inches of heaven at Banapple Café, famous for their banoffee pie. And that’s just the area immediately around us!

If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you can visit the stretch of road facing Ateneo de Manila and Miriam College. The area is thick with small, interesting stores, restaurants and coffee shops – some of our favorites are Craft Coffee for caffeine junkies like us, Sebastian’s Ice Cream for some Mango Sans Rival ice cream (or the Green Mango ice cream with bagoong, if you dare!), and Wooden Spoon for Pinoy comfort food with a twist. Past Ateneo and closer to the University of the Philippines complex, you can also find charming little Maginhawa Street, a local foodie mecca.
